"‎People live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future"

Skyping with Saad, a really good friend from Pakistan!!! #longdistancefriendship

Scarlett Johansson’s hair is gorgeous!

Blogging this for future reference!

From stylebistro:

1. Begin with slightly wavy hair. Either activate natural texture by using a diffuser attachment when blow drying, set hair on hot rollers or add some bend with a large-barreled curling iron.

2. Backcomb hair, focusing on tresses along the front hairline and through the crown.

3. Starting with the areas directly behind the tops of the ears, take two-inch sections, twist, and pin them into place in the middle of the back of the head.

4. Work your way down toward the back hairline, twisting and pinning sections until all the longer lengths have been styled.

5. Draw the hair along the temples back very loosely, pulling these sections back over the twisted pieces, artfully arranging them and pinning the ends into place.

5. Finger comb the hair along the front hairline, sweeping it back and smoothing out the front layer.

6. Mist the completed style with hairspray.

Dubai

Dubai is definitely one of my favorite cities in the world. The experience was so much more special because we met up with some relatives whom we haven’t seen for six years. It was so much fun catching up with them! They also showed us around the city. Some people say there’s not much culture in Dubai cause it’s basically a big modern shopping center, but I like how they seem to have perfected the concept of a Western society located in the Middle East. I’d recommend it. Enjoy some of these photos ;)

Nagsasa Cove

Nagsasa’s merely a three hour drive from Manila, so I decided to take some people there to have a day of beach filled fun! You can go hiking or you can also take a boat for around an hour to reach Nagsasa! On my first visit, I went by boat. Came back a week ago to go hiking towards Anawangin, but since it was raining like hell that day we only climbed up to the summit then climbed down. We wanted to climb all the way then go back by boat but the waves were too strong for any normal bangka to survive! Here’s some photos of that lovely trip back in January.
